When Reality Collides with the "Real World"

Boston Real World 1997 alumnia Sean Duffy is running for the Republican seat in US Congress and has Sarah Palin as a supporter.

“At 38, Duffy has been named one of the genuinely young members of the RNC's not-so ‘Young Guns,’” reports HuffPo. “With establishment help, including endorsements from Tim Pawlenty's Freedom First PAC and former Alaska Governor Sarah Palin, Duffy has raised more than $600,000 and is expected to to beat his opponent, tea-party backed Dan Mielke (author of perhaps the most monotonous, sleep-inducing, uninspired attack video ever created), in September's Republican primary.”

If Duffy wins, he would likely face Wisconsin state senator Julie Lassa, the expected Democratic nominee for the seat to be vacated by Rep. David Obey, a Democrat who announced his retirement in May.
