Croatian gay pride march attacked
A gay pride march in a coastal town in Croatia ended in violence this weekend when a stone-throwing mob attacked participants. The march attracted LGBT people and their friends, but thousands of people lined the streets in protest.
Extremists then began throwing bottles, stones and firecrackers at the marchers, Pink News reports.
Police used barriers to separate the two sides, although the gay campaigners said they were not protected properly.
Amnesty International cited reports which said five people needed medical attention, including one for a a head injury.
More than 100 people were arrested. The violence came just one day after Croatia was given the green light to join the European Union.

Homophobic Men Most Aroused by Gay Male Porn

Based on these scores, they then divided these men into two groups: men that are homophobic, and men who are not. These men were then shown three, four minute videos. One video depicted straight sex, one depicted lesbian sex and one depicted gay male sex. While this was happening, a device was attached to the male participant's penises. This device has been found to be triggered by sexual arousal, but not other types of arousal.
When viewing lesbian sex and straight sex, both the homophobic and the non-homophobic men showed increased penis circumference. For gay male sex, however, only the homophobic men showed heightened penis arousal.
Heterosexual men who reported the most anti-gay attitudes also reported not being aroused by gay male sex videos.
But, their penises reported otherwise. Homophobic men were the most sexually aroused by gay male sex acts.
