Okay, I feel like I'm the only one that cares. If you go to MTV.com, the show isn't even featured on the front page. But, still, for me, its cool to see this venerable series at your own metropolis so that you recognize all of the local landmarks. As I have said, I passed by the house regularly when they were filming. (On a related note, the house is literally a shell of its former self). So, for example, when Ty is coming up from the Dupont Circle metro station at the same time other cast members are getting into a cab near the Lincoln Memorial, he would have to more at a snail's pace to not beat them to the Real World house on Connecticut Ave.

But since this is the GPT blog, lets get to the hotness of the matter and talk about the young guys. Ty, hot black guy from Baltimore, is muscular and combative, so if you tune in you should see a lot of him. Mike is the bi-sexual guy that is really a gay guy, but not up to owning up to it. (Funny thing, while Mike has said in the press how he's not like the stereotype of a gay guy, he is the epitome of the stereotype of a gay guy in D.C.). Josh, looks and acts like a rocker from south Philly, and struggled to hold my interest. Last, but not least, is Josh who is weird, a liar, and a lanky twinkish dude. Doesn't seem to have a gay bone in his body, but easily is the most watchable of the boys. Even if you've grown to hate the series, check it out so that you can be surprised or reinforce your feelings.

23 y.o. Andrew Grande aka Dustin Michaels from Broke Straight Boys, Naked Kombat and Extra Big Dicks died after police in Panama City, Florida tasered him during an attempted arrest.

Apparently this Serial Bum Sniffer has smelled over 20 butts but has now been filmed in a security cam.

REVIEW: Wet & Wild

Sometimes its hard to come up with a video for the web reviews. The porncast reviews always kind of fall in my lap - their the latest releases. For the blog, I have the opportunity to choose from more flicks, so more movies, more problems. When in doubt, I choose a release with somebody hot on the cover. Case in point: Tom Katt. He still looks good but now is ex-bisexual, preaches regularly, is married, but still enters bodybuilding contests. This flick gives you a chance to see him in his porn-prime when this movie originally came out in '93.

Scene one has Joey Morgan servicing Aiden Shaw through a hole in a fence. Scene two has Ren Lickit and Bill Wadkins as reconciling lovers. Scene three has bartender Tom Katt seeing how well dancer Randy White can dance and fuck. Scene four sees more of Aiden Shaw, this time fucking Rob Cryston in the pool. REVIEW: Ten Pound Tube Steak

REVIEW: Exploring Rudolf Schneider

The films of William Higgins. Depending on what age you are or how much of the wonderful world of gay porn you have experienced, the nae raises different inferences. For some, his early work with Laguna Pacific defined gay porn for a generation. REVIEW: Sun Valley Bareback

Funny story (never trust review that starts out with the words "funny story"). I was reviewing a rerelease from Centaur Studios that I couldn't remember seeing before. The title "Hard Corps Recruits" didn't seem familiar, but once I got to watching it, I realized I had seen it when it was originally released. Looking it up in some porn databases I was reminded that it was originally named "Raw Recruits." Of course when it was released in '97, "raw" didn't have the widespread connotation it has now. Same with "bareback." We as gay folk have to come up with some other terms or we'll never be able to distinguish "bareback blah blah" from "bareback blow blow." Not a national emergency, but it is the kind of thing that keeps me up at night.

Prime example: Sun Valley Bareback. Sure its bareback, but what distinguishes this flick from the rest of the bareback crowd seeking your hard-earned dollar? That depends, this movie has much to recommend it; it's from Cocksure Men, directed by Jake Cruise, and looks pretty good. If your a fan of the work of the two cover studs, Leo Giamani and David Taylor, since they've gone on to other studios, the first scene is a hot coupling between the pair, with Leo bottoming. Scene two has Leo Giamani, Jeremy Bilding, Park Wiley, Shawn Hunter, Pat Bateman, Jake Wolfe and Ryan Buckley, in an orgy with too much going on to describe. Scene three has Jeremy Bilding and Jake Wolfe fucking in a hammock that is both aerobatic and hot. The last scene has Leo Giamani and Park Wiley fucking in the hay in a barn, where the always receptive Park gives it his all. Overall, several high points, no too many lows. Think about picking it up if you know and fancy any of the cast.

Cody Foster, Cody Foster. He was so hot. I use the past tense because unfortunately passed away from liver cancer in 2007. The cover of this Channel One/ Catalina rerelease has a similar look as when the flick was originally released in 1992: both feature Cody's hot body. This flick, however, features Cody in what arguably was his prime, and he's featured in two the five scenes.

Cody has invited a bunch of his old friends over for a reunion, where scene one features Randy McQuiad and Andrew Valentino as the first ones to arrive who proceed to get it on, with Cody joining in. Scene two features Arik Travis, Devin Davenport, and Erich Lange (hot redhead) in an outdoor oral 3-way. I love rereleases. The focus in the review biz is always "new, new, new!" I, however, also have fond memories of older videos, even not so old videos like this one. Released in 1993, sixteen years ago, its not like were setting the WayBack machine to the last century (hey, wait, we are!) Below is a copy of the cover when it was released and a cover of the rerelease. The latter release now has Rob Cryston on the cover, the lone "name" that was featured. Now when this flick first came out, Londun and Derrick Corbin (I think), were on the cover, and promptly melted into obscurity. The lesson (apparently) is: if you want to sell a rerelease, but someone recognizable on the cover.

The movie's plot surrounds the potential outing of a tv star by a tabloid. Scene one has David Griffin, a reporter, trying to out soapstar Londun. Scene two has Derrick Corbin as the sleazy editor getting the best of deliveryman Dillon Reid. The next scene has blank having sex with security guard Steve Lipariti and an oral session with John Rhodes the next morning. Scene four has John Robertson and Max Holden servicing Londun. Because of the former mistreatment of deliveryman Dillon by Corbin, Dilln bring the incriminating photos to Londun, but Londun does the right thing by publicly coming out on the air. He celebrates by having a threeway with his lover Rob Cryston and Eric Evans. Nice video with just enough plot to give the characters their motivation. Also, some of the models did this and maybe two other videos, so one of your few chances to check them out.

The Real World DC premieres Dec. 30th

I am willing to admit that I still watch the Real World on MTV. It has been ground breaking with respect to introducing gay and lesbian people into world's living rooms. December 30th is the premiere of that program in our (Paulie and mine) fair city, and it includes some GLBT people. As a side note, the real world house was around the corner from one of my porn rental shops, so I got to see all of the goings-on. (Some porn companies don't give us review copies, forcing (?) me to schlep to rental places to find the material for my reviews). More details on the porncast (GPT#228).

REVIEW: RSVP

In preparing this review, I tried to remember when Titan first began the Titanmen fresh series. I think the first video in the series was "Rising Sun," but it might have been "London Calling." All of the flicks in this series feature European models that are younger and smoother than your typical "Titan man." They have evolved into videos, like RSVP, featuring three long scenes instead of the traditional four or five, and usually multiple cumshots per scene. This one directed by Richie Oldmann fits the mold with the theme of this flick being a party, with the guests who show up hopefully properly RSVPing in advance.

Scene one has Luke Taylor and Jarek Soldan finding a spare bedroom to fool around in. Scene two starts off with Luko Marshall and David White followed by Brian Brower to make the duo a threeway. Scene three has Marco Mark, Milan Johanson, and Adam Zarsky fucking around the house, ending up in a tub with Marco and Milan taking turns on Adam's hole. I have talked about how I don't want the blog reviews to be a ghetto for "lesser" reviews; kind of like an island of misfit toys. However, when you have a flick with mostly solo JOs, how many of those scenes does it take to make up a typical gay porn flick. Volume 11 of Falcon's Str8men series gets it about right. Not all the scenes are solos; in fact my favorite scenes are the pairings. Scenes one and three have Heath Anthony, that Falcon refers to as a "regular guy," but I think he's hotter than regular, with the latter scene includes some toy use. Scene two has Vic Kovak with a hot body and a sexy slavic accent. Scene four has Heath and Vic together and they realy shine together. Scene five has Andrew Justice and Leo Giamani, with Andrew bottoming and coming back for a solo in scene six. Scenes seven and eight feature Christopher Ashlee (from the video cover) and Blaine Hardy in separate solos. Overall a nice video, if you like the solos and even a litle something if you don't.

REVIEW: Mason Wyler: Welcome To My World, Vol 3

REVIEW: Nailed & Screwed

First, a question: why both? I'm not a carpenter, but why would you nail and screw something together. I consider nails and screws to be equivalents, so why do both? Of course if you're Ben Leon and Andrew Rosen, the directors, one actor fucking another will accomplish both. I guess it will remain one of my open questions. REVIEW: More Tales 3

Hey I'm back! And it's time for more tales. More precisely, "More Tales 3" from Ayor Studios. I can say that I liked the first two installments in the series a lot and I like this one as well. All of the flicks feature young guys, who talk directly to the camera about their lives prior to the sex scenes. Kevin Kraus and Ryan Quaid are featured in all three movies, but it's not like they are playing the same characters, so you haven't missed anything if you haven't seen the first two. The intros by the guys are in Czech, but with English subtitles.

The first scene features Tommy Michaelo (who is three of the scenes) and Rendy Scott in a hot bathroom flip-flop scene. Kevin Kraus and Ariel Vanean are in the second scene that takes place on Kevin's couch and is particularly tender. Scene three includes George Michaelo with Ondrej Sokol in a shower room flip-flop at the health club. Ondrej Sokol also gets fucked in the next scene by both Tommy Michaelo and Bratt Kiney, after getting stipped in the gym. Randy Quaid has a solo in the next scene and Kevin Kraus and Adam Zarsky (featured on the cover) have a passionate flip-flop in scene 6. Last but not least, Tommy Michaelo invites Milos Zambu to join him at the public pool, followed later by a flip-flop fuck.
