REVIEW: Sun Valley Bareback

Funny story (never trust review that starts out with the words "funny story"). I was reviewing a rerelease from Centaur Studios that I couldn't remember seeing before. The title "Hard Corps Recruits" didn't seem familiar, but once I got to watching it, I realized I had seen it when it was originally released. Looking it up in some porn databases I was reminded that it was originally named "Raw Recruits." Of course when it was released in '97, "raw" didn't have the widespread connotation it has now. Same with "bareback." We as gay folk have to come up with some other terms or we'll never be able to distinguish "bareback blah blah" from "bareback blow blow." Not a national emergency, but it is the kind of thing that keeps me up at night.

Prime example: Sun Valley Bareback. Sure its bareback, but what distinguishes this flick from the rest of the bareback crowd seeking your hard-earned dollar? That depends, this movie has much to recommend it; it's from Cocksure Men, directed by Jake Cruise, and looks pretty good. If your a fan of the work of the two cover studs, Leo Giamani and David Taylor, since they've gone on to other studios, the first scene is a hot coupling between the pair, with Leo bottoming. Scene two has Leo Giamani, Jeremy Bilding, Park Wiley, Shawn Hunter, Pat Bateman, Jake Wolfe and Ryan Buckley, in an orgy with too much going on to describe. Scene three has Jeremy Bilding and Jake Wolfe fucking in a hammock that is both aerobatic and hot. The last scene has Leo Giamani and Park Wiley fucking in the hay in a barn, where the always receptive Park gives it his all. Overall, several high points, no too many lows. Think about picking it up if you know and fancy any of the cast.
