DC Marriage Slightly Delayed
The DC same-sex marriage bill was set to become law in early March. As regular listeners to the porncast know, all laws in DC have a 30 day review period before Congress so they can stick their noses into local politics. With democratic control, it was not likely to be overturned (if you really want something to not be done, depend on the Democrats!). However, with the double whammy of snowstorms in the DC area, Congress has not been officially in session for a few days, so that the 30 legislative days for review won't have ticked off until mid-March. If you're coming here to get hitched, make your venue and tux rental plans accordingly. (In other news, Paulie is being ordained as a minister in some UFO cult so that he can say that he's participated in a gay wedding)
