Students at schools and colleges across the country are observing National Coming Out Day in hopes to raise LGBT visibility. Oct 11th is the anniversary of the 1987 March on Washington for Gay and Lesbian Equality where over 1 million marched. It is a day to reflect on how far we have come as a group and how far we still need to go.
