Across the Universe a visual masterpiece that will leaves you stunned

You might ask what makes this “gay”… well besides the two very hot British leads Jim Sturgess, Joe Anderson, it is a love story musical that you will remember for a long time. Visually its like Fantasia meets Moulin Rouge. Even if you not a Beatles fan you will love the songs that weave through the story line of a young man from Liverpool comes to America during the Vietnam War to find his father. He winds up in Greenwich Village, where he falls in love with an American girl who has grown up sheltered in the suburbs. Together they experience the sweeping changes of America in the late 60's. It runs a little too long but at 2 hrs 10mins but this will no doubt be a cult classic.

Sorry dude..."Across the Universe" is the most soulless piece of celluloid made in the past ten years. It's a derivative series of music videos and stunt casting with little care to define the characters beyond pretty MTV-boyfriend and -girlfriend roles.
