UK Ice Cream company has been banned from using an ad showing to hot priests in full robes eating ice cream about to kiss.
Defending the ad, the company said it did not mock Catholicism but ''reflected the grave troubles they considered affected the Catholic Church''
The ASA (Advertising Standards Authority) said: ''We considered the portrayal of the two priests in a sexualised manner was likely to be interpreted as mocking the beliefs of Roman Catholics and was therefore likely to cause serious offence to some readers.''
A month before the same ad company pushed the boundaries with a campaign featuring a pregnant nun.
I don't know what the problem is, if I saw this ad, I would run to the confessional booth (they still have glory holes, don't they?).
