Gay Porn/Burglary Twins had Their Mommy as Lookout

What’s a good mom going to do, keep it in the family! One of the gay-porn twins accused in a series of rooftop burglaries told investigators that his mother served as a lookout during at least one of the break-ins.

At a preliminary hearing yesterday, a detective testified that Keyontili Goffney, 25, of Pennsauken, told them that his mother, Tawana Goffney, worked as a lookout during the Feb. 19 burglary in South Philadelphia in which the twins were arrested.

Assistant District Attorney Eiton Blanc confirmed that the mother, who also lives in Pennsauken, was being investigated in connection with the case. "The mother's role, based on the statement, indicated that she came to the scene as a second lookout for a rooftop burglary," said Blanc. "I don't believe she has been charged here yet."

Keyontili Goffney and his twin brother, Taleon, have been charged with multiple counts of burglary, theft, conspiracy and related offenses for using an ax to chop through the roofs of three businesses to steal merchandise. They also are accused of stealing several thousand dollars from ATMs.

Municipal Court Judge Harvey W. Robbins yesterday ordered Keyontili Goffney, who is free on $225,000 bail, to appear at an April 8 arraignment. Taleon Goffney has not posted his $300,000 bail and did not attend yesterday's hearing.

The brothers are suspects in 45 rooftop burglaries stretching across New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Delaware.
