Father of Cobra’s Bryan Kocis sues suspected killers

The father of brutally slain porn producer filed a lawsuit this week against the suspected killers Harlow Raymond Cuadra and Joseph Menuel Kerekes. Both were charged with homicide in Jan 24th 2007 and prosecutors are seeking the death penalty for the two suspects, who are jailed awaiting trial.

Cuadra and Kerekes claim to be indigent and are represented by publicly funded attorneys. The lawsuit seeks an unspecified amount of damages for wrongful death and destruction of property.
Michael Kocis’ attorney, Conrad Falvello, said he’s unsure whether the suspects have any assets to recover for damages, but the family has a “fiduciary duty to at least pursue” that and see “if there are any assets that may be recoverable.”
