Killers find romance behind bars

Just like out of a scene from OZ two men in federal prison for murder in Quebec find love and will marry later this month. This will be the first same sex marriage from behind bars at the Cowansville Penitentiary.

David Benard 22 is serving a 10 year sentence for involuntary manslaughter and Sony Martin 26 serving a life term for second degree murder. The two lovebirds met behind bars. They will not be allowed conjugal visits and will get to be together only when prisoners have common time - at the gym, outdoor activities, and meals.

"Gay weddings have been legal since July 2005 and the first union between same-sex inmates occurred in November 2006, so it's not frequent," prison spokesperson Jean-Yves Roy told the Montreal Gazette.

Mr. Gay Europe 2007 Crowned

The hunky Jackson Netto 25yo from Germany has been crowned as Mr. Gay Europe. The event took place at the Hungarian state Circus in Budapest where 21 contestants from The Canary Islands, Ireland to Lapland competed for the honored title. Over 1 million at Rio’s Pride Parade

12th annual Gay Pride Parade had an estimated 800, 000 to 1.2 million people attend the parade at Avenida Atlantic in Copacabana. Despite the relatively cool temperatures many participants were scantily clad as they danced to samba music in celebration. Rio’s Governor Sergio Cabral made history by opening the parade and was the first governor in history to attend the event. The David Awards, the European equivalent of the GAYVN Awards, will be presented October 19 in Berlin. S&M death in Massachusetts raises legal questions

Adrian Exley traveled from Britain for a bondage session with a man he met on a S&M web site. He was wrapped tightly in heavy plastic, then bound with duct tape with a leather hood and plastic straw so that he could breath and then shut in a closet. Exley’s body was discoved in the woods last year after the suicide of Gary LeBlanc who was responsibility in the fatal bondage session. Louisiana Joey Difatta abandoned race for state Senate after reports of “Toe Tapping”

Another Republican in trouble for bathroom sex, a Louisiana city official abandoned his race for state Senate as a newspaper prepared to report that he had twice been detained on suspicion of lewd conduct in mall restrooms, New Orleans' WDSU-TV reported.

He was not arrested in either case, In the 1996 case, a man who initially accused DiFatta of watching him through a bathroom peephole withdrew his complaint.
